Patterson is running for Judge to make a difference, and she has the heart for people and an extensive criminal law background.
Patterson believes Dallas County deserves Judges who preside with fairness for all citizens, have heart and compassion for everyone who enters the Court, and efficiently manage caseloads, dockets, and trial settings.

Patterson plans to handle and resolve cases swiftly, and work to eliminate backlogs in the Dallas County Criminal Courts.
Patterson plans to have old cases taken to trial quickly.
Patterson plans to start a first time youthful offender program in her Court for first time offenders ages 17-25 on certain felony crimes.
Patterson plans to have offenders screened for mental health issues and substance abuse problems before their cases are resolved.
Night Court program for citizens to be able to access the Courts after hours.
